Help Us Serve Others by Donating Food and Clothing

At Warren Family Mission, we treat every “guest” or resident with all the respect a child of God deserves.

We treat them the way we want to be treated ourselves. That means we never give someone an item of clothing or pair of shoes that we would not be willing to wear ourselves.

Running the Mission is very similar to running your own home, except on a much bigger scale. Just think of all the things you need for your family. We need those same things to keep the Mission operating smoothly. If you need it at your house, most likely we need it here, and you can be a huge blessing to us by donating those items.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we’re able to provide our guests with donated items like nutritious food, warm blankets, toys, hygiene items, and more! Whenever you donate food or things, you provide help and hope to people in desperate need!

What type of donations are we looking for?

  • Items for our Food Pantry

    Typical grocery story items: non-perishable food, boxed meals such as hamburger helper, meats, cheeses, beverages, etc.
  • Prepared Food

    Food and meals that have been prepared for consumption to help feed our neighbors
  • Appliances

    Washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, cook stoves, window air conditioners, etc.
  • New/Unopened Hygiene Items

    Hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.
  • Baby Items

    Diapers and wipes, formula, clothing, etc.
  • New/Unopened Medicines

    Ibuprofen, acetaminophen, alcohol-free cold medications, etc.
  • Domestics

    Curtains, linen, bedspreads, blankets, etc.
  • Clothing

    For men, women and children
  • New Children's Items

    New bicycles, new toys, new school supplies and backpacks
  • Gift Cards

    To grocery and department stores
  • Tools

    Power tools, lawn tools, and lawn equipment

Sorry, we can’t use these:

  • Used box springs, mattresses, and waterbeds

  • Furniture

  • Household items

  • Pianos and organs

  • Books, records, CDs, DVDs

  • Used tires

  • Used carpet

  • Stained/torn bedding, used pillows, and towels

  • Medical Supplies and Equipment

  • Adult diapers

We accept a whole bunch of things, but unfortunately, we can’t take everything. The cost of disposing of unusable or unsellable items is high, and we are better stewards when our dollars are designated to caring for our neighbors in need. For things we do accept, most don’t have to be new, but they must be clean and in good, working condition.

Where to Drop-Off

We accept donations Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at 155 Tod Ave NW, Warren, Ohio 44485.

Pull into the donation parking by the front doors; we have volunteers that will come outside to help you.
